The wading shoes primarily utilize scratch-resistant and wear-resistant mesh fabric + quick-drying synthetic fibers + TPU anti-scratch patches.  Elastic Lycra is added to the upper for a combination of breathability, quick-drying, and protection against scratches from rocks and branches, preventing damage to the upper;

The shoe upper extends 3-5cm above the ankle, tightly wrapping the ankle to effectively prevent sand, gravel, and small stones from entering the shoe, eliminating the need for repeated shoe removal and cleaning, while also reducing direct friction between the ankle and rocks/weeds;

Large areas of mesh on the upper + drainage channels on both sides of the upper allow water to quickly penetrate and drain, preventing water accumulation and added weight after wading. The high-top design prevents stuffiness and water retention;

The high-elastic ribbed sock-like collar fits snugly around the ankle without chafing. Some models include a waterproof drawstring closure to further tighten the opening, enhancing sand and splash protection.

The wading shoes use a combination of Velcro and drawstring for secure fastening, allowing for quick adjustment of tightness even with wet hands. The high-top design is easy to put on and take off, and adapts to different foot types (including wide and thick feet);

The upper has a built-in lightweight EVA support piece, which is not stiff but effectively stabilizes the ankle, reducing the risk of sprains when walking on complex terrain, making it more suitable for rough surfaces than low-top models;

Despite being high-top, the weight of a single shoe is controlled at 150-200g and is foldable (due to the elastic design of the upper, the folded volume is similar to low-top models), making it convenient for outdoor travel and storage;
